Home Decorating Contest: Post entry by NOON JULY 3RD
Every home in South Norfolk and Portlock is eligible to win one of four Prize Garden Flags and a Gift Basket.
Here’s how to win:
Decorate your home and post your best photo of it on Facebook, in the COMMENTS SECTION of the 2022 South Norfolk Fourth of July Home Decorating Contest Album, CLICK HERE on the South Norfolk Civic League Facebook Page. Then tell all your friends to vote for you!
The contest ends at noon on July 3rd, but do not wait until then to post your picture! You need time for your photo to collect likes! This is how you win! Get the most likes!
The photos with the most likes will win one of four prizes: First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize and Honorable Mention.

RESTROOMS & HANDICAPPED ACCESS
Porta-potties and Handicapped parking are located on Byrd Avenue at the Southeast corner of Lakeside Park. Paved sidewalks lead from this parking lot and wind throughout the park for easy mobility. Grounds are well maintained so you may also be able to navigate off the paved walks, with random tree roots being your primary obstacles.
OTHER INFORMATION
PETS: Pets are allowed to bring their well-behaved humans as long as humans keep pets on a maximum 5-foot leash and pick up after them. It will be hot! Please plan for the comfort of everyone in your pack.
WATER: Bring water or inquire at SNCL tent.
BRING OUR OWN FOOD?: Yes, you may bring your own food. Coolers are allowed. After all, this is a picnic! We ask that you patronize our vendors if you can.
ALCOHOL: Alcohol is forbidden at Lakeside Park.
