The South Norfolk Civic League is planning a very special celebration for the 100th Anniversary of the town of South Norfolk (established 1921), in Norfolk County, Virginia, USA.

We are so sorry to announce that 2020 Scholarships and July 4th events may change or be cancelled due to COVID-19 .

South Norfolk Civic League officials have acknowledged that, as current events and COVID-19 evolve, there is a possibility of changes and/or cancellation of scholarships and events relating to the community’s annual Fourth of July Parade and Party in the Park scheduled July 4, 2020.

Event organizers will continue to accept parade and scholarship applications, however, applicants should be aware that all events and scholarships may be cancelled.

If and when scholarships and events are cancelled, announcements will be posted on this site and on the South Norfolk Civic League’s Facebook page.
